Aight,
let’s get to this. Welcome to 2026. Trump got Maduro out of Brazil
which only proves my hypothesis we live in a South Park episode.
Trump is a piece of shit and so is Maduro. And don’t get me wrong,
Maduro is a major piece of shit. Definitely don’t wanna make it
sound like I condone anything that fucker does. But man… I had no
idea that you can bypass pretty much all standard procedures, get
into a country, kidnap the fucking president and bring him wherever
you came from for a trial. I swear I gotta watch somebody explaining
this at high school level on Youtube soon. Anyways… All the love,
prayers and hope for people in Venezuela. It’s a fucking shit show
and I hope that at the end of this tunnel, brighter future awaits.
Quite difficult to imagine one now but I guess that’s all we’ve
got.
Anyways…
I was at a yoga class yesterday (most probably the best class I’ve
experienced in the Czech Republic so far) and the guy was saying that
the main astrological sign for this year is cancer (yours truly) and
that it might be the time to let certain things go and invite new
things into life. Now, to some degree it’s all pretty generic and I
don’t really think you necessarily have to take too much from that.
But the fact that it’s my fucking year and it’s okay to welcome
change really fucking resonated. Shout out to the guy tho! Beautiful
class.
I would
also like to wish a happy new year to everybody out there. We live in
the world where we often forget how amazing life can be. We are
crushed by this late capitalism, we struggle to keep rent paid and
food on the table, we get tired, we get frustrated, we get angry and
then we often turn our hate in a totally wrong direction. And we need
to stop that. And I know that some people's situations are impossible. But many of us are privilleged enough. And everybody wants to be seen, everybody wants to be
loved, everyone wants to matter. Cultivate that. Connect to things
within yourself and around you, connect to other people…
Experiment, learn, don’t lose that spark. And don’t be afraid to
change your opinion. That’s part of the process. The good things in
life always take a bit more time but the reward is worth it. So yeah…
Love to everybody emitting some good energy. Whatever it
is. There are many ways to look at the chaos our lives are. Some of them
are really inconsiderate and destructive, some are compassionate,
loving and awesome. So maybe let’s aim for the latter. Jane Goodall
(rest in paradise) once said that individuals have no idea how much
power they bear. If enough people do a thing, it becomes a big thing.
Let’s try to do some big things!
And
what I’ve been up to… Last Saturday I did go for the bike ride.
It was freezing but man was it also gorgeous. Some snow, river partly
frozen up, ending with some good chats with sis and her friends from
a drama group we both used to go to who gathered in a pub like 15km
away… Monday afternoon, I hopped on a train to a visit one of my
bros just out of town. We hung out with his kid, we had some drinks,
we talked a lot… And the following day, we did a run. Now, that was
the first run in like two weeks as my thigh had been a bit off. We
did around 9km. It felt great breathing the crisp morning air, seeing
all the deer and rabbits, all the trees and shit… Has some magic to
it. In the afternoon, I got back to Brno and in the evening I took my
dad, his partner and for a reason I’m not gonna get into also my
practitioner (she happens to be friends with dad). Lovely crowd. We
went to the Mahen theater to check a play named Patriots depicting
rise of Putin. And man, was that dope… Not really happy but very
well written and extremely well executed.
Wednesday
I did some more running. It was snowing and it looked like a fairy
tale. And I fell down only once. Which is a pretty good score given
the fact I did 12km pretty much on ice. In the evening, I had to hop
in the car and drive outside of town to get a spare key of my sis’
apartment (long story - she was out of town, somebody had to feed her cats and keys were nowhere to be found but at that place out of town) which I did but since roads were looking more
like ski slopes, it was yet another adventure. Spent the rest of the
year with dad and his partner and after midnight I fucked off to a
club for some techno. As a responsible adult my age should. Was there
till about 7am and had a really good time. Been feeling like going to
rave for a while and this one was was real fun. Enjoyed both the vibe and
the music. Shout out to the Fraktal collective!
Now,
I’m always up early no matter what I did the night before so the
next day I was walking the dog at around 10am or some shit like that.
Spent the rest of the day napping, reading and watching
Stranger Things at my sis’ while making sure her cats stay alive.
Friday afternoon, I hit the sauna, visited the cats and eventually
ended up at a friend’s spot with some other lovely people for some
home cooked food. Good vibes.
Yesterday
I did a morning yoga class, then I recorded a song I’ve recently
written to a friend’s beat (might share later) and in the
afternoon, I headed to my sister’s once more. This time she was
already there. We had some dinner and then we played video games.
See, she works in gaming and I hadn’t play a game since like GTA 5.
I spent good two hours on the new Mafia. I felt like a 5-year-old
with my skills but it was fun. And the games look crazy good these
days. Granted, she does have a PS5. Might be back there to continue
where I left off but I’m really fucking glad I don’t have that
thing at home. Barely got time for all my hobbies already.
Today I
did another morning run. It was like -7 degrees but the sky was clear
and since the paths were much less icy, I was significantly faster
than the last time. Honestly, I’m just grateful my thigh doesn’t
pull anymore. We had big family lunch at dad’s, I walked the doggos
with sis and her partner and in the evening, I hit my yoga studio
once more. Didn’t feel like sitting on my ass. Oh and I also
finished Stranger Things. Not bad at all…
So
there you have it. Starting tomorrow it’s back to business. My life
is definitely shifting these days but that’s all part of the game.
It’s love and peace to everybody. And again… Wanna wish you
nothing but the best for these upcoming 12 months. Keep it light,
keep it positive, don’t entertain bullshit and don’t let them
fuck with your inner light. One!
